"Who has ever heard of Grand Rapids travel hockey before this week, probably not many outside of West Michigan, but this team has came here and made their mark on the travel hockey world, we will not be forgetting this team" - Announcer
These are just a few of the quotes I heard around the rink the last couple days of competition. This team is full of skilled hockey players but, in my opinion, even more important they have champion character. We, as parents, could not have asked for our young men to show up with more poise and character than they did this week at Nationals.
